'Eliza and her Monsters'..... AHHH

Synopsis: For 3 years, Eliza Mary Mirk had been working on her Graphic Novel 'Monstrous sea' under her account name "ladyconstellation", her true identity never revealed. Her Graphic Novel had become so popular over the years, and so had lady constellation, but Eliza Mirk was still the shy, freak at high school that everyone was afraid to come close to. Eliza survived the daily struggles of being an introvert sketch book in hand, but then came buff like Wallace Warland, the most famous 'monstrous sea' fan fiction writer on her forums. For some undecipherable reason, he didn't speak but Eliza, 'just another fan', didn't mind and went along with the silent hand written conversations. As they got closer she started to see more of the world but that meant less time for her sketches and for her Graphic Novel. Life couldn't be more perfect... but then her world blew up.

Review: For the introvert this book was so relatable and for the extrovert it was enlightening. It had the sentiment, the panic attacks, the secrets, the stress, the trauma, the pressure and the creativity. Francesca was so understanding of the every day teenager's struggle on so many different levels, yet she also managed to stress on the pressure that an author feels and the trauma one might experience.

style of writing: the book had a very consistent theme, as in it gave the reader a very comforting and warm feeling reading this book. when crisis struck, the reader would feel for the character and would understand so well what the main character was going through. Francesca introduced her readers to so much in this book and ended it by giving them a much needed closure.

recommendation: if you haven't already noticed, I completely adored this book, from beginning to end. It had everything i prize in a book and it also gives you that 'comfy, big sweater and hot drink' feeling. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN. I rate it a whopping 4.9 stars out of 5. Not 5 because there was one thing i would change about this one scene but i can't say because NO SPOILERS. NO, but seriously I LOVED THIS BOOK SO GO READ IT.

- ENJOY :)
