Why "Me Before You" deserves a 5 star rating

Jojo Moyes wrote "Me Before You" as one of the most emotional interpretations of the story possible. Her well structured writing helped her take the character's emotions far. John Green is an amazing author, but even his "The Fault In Our Stars" couldn't compare. When I read this book, you could see how absorbed I was by how I urgently flipped the pages and laughed so hard but also cried till I had no tears to shed left.

Louisa Clark, aged twenty six, is as cheerful and chatty as can be. Living with her parents, grandfather, sister and nephew in a stable household and having a boyfriend that has been with her for seven years, she finds that even though her family might not be in the best economic situation, she is still living her life to the fullest and is happy with her small town. With a family dependent upon her, she goes in search of a job which leads her to Will Traynor. Thirty five year old Will Traynor is paralyzed from the neck down and ends up being stuck with Louisa clark as his carer due to his mothers wishes. When she first meets will, she gets the impression that he hates her and gets asked to leave him alone and being desperate for the money she abides to his wishes. The quiet and depression breaks Louisa and she almost gives up but then after a tantrum or two from the both, they start warming up to each other. As problems arise between louisa and patrick, her boyfriend, and between will and his friends and family, Louisa overhears a few conversations and she realizes her real purpose at her job. Lost in confusion and realization at what she has gotten herself into, she notices how important she has become to will and how the feeling could possibly be mutual. Throughout the book Louisa is taught how to live not exist, to travel and roam not settle.

Not only does this book have a good plot but is beautifully written with a kind of maturity that is not found in all books. Jojo Moyes has presented us with a must read that you won't be able to put down once you have started.
